Privacy Policy

SkyPop is a balloon game with optional photo balloons and a one-time full-game purchase. This policy explains what happens to data when you use the app.

Photos and game data

If you choose a photo for a balloon, the system photo picker gives SkyPop access only to the photo you select. SkyPop processes and saves the resulting balloon image on your device. We do not upload your photos or balloon images to our servers. You can remove photo balloons in the app; uninstalling the app removes its local data, subject to any device backup you keep.

SkyPop saves game preferences and progress on your device. It does not require an account.

Purchases

Apple processes payments. SkyPop uses StoreKit and Adapty to display the product, validate purchase status, and restore access. Adapty may process purchase and product identifiers, an app installation identifier, and technical request information for these purposes. We do not receive your payment-card details.

Optional analytics

Analytics is off unless an adult enables it in Settings. If enabled, SkyPop sends play, session, and purchase-flow events to PostHog to help us understand use of the game. Those events can include a random app identifier and standard app and device details. We do not send photos, balloon images, names, or answers to the adult check. An adult can turn analytics off again in Settings; this stops future analytics events.

Sharing and retention

We use Adapty for purchase management and PostHog for optional analytics. We do not sell personal data or use advertising trackers. Local data remains on the device until removed in the app or by uninstalling it. Service data is retained as needed to provide purchases, analytics, and support, subject to each provider’s practices. You can contact us to ask about data associated with the app.

Children and contact

SkyPop can be played by families. Purchase and analytics controls are placed behind an adult check. We do not knowingly request a child’s name, email address, or photos for transmission. If you believe information was sent to us in error, contact us.
